Baseten is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a team of Strategic Account Executives. You'll drive revenue growth and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams. This role requires 6+ years of sales experience, including management of high-performing teams.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 6 years of closing sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role leading high-performing teams. Your strong technical acumen allows you to engage deeply with the product, enabling your team to have highly technical conversations with prospects and customers. You foster a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration within your sales team, ensuring that everyone is aligned and motivated to exceed pipeline and revenue goals.
You are a strategic thinker who can help define and execute go-to-market strategies for the fastest growing customer segments. Your experience in collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams ensures that customer needs are aligned with Baseten’s product roadmap. You are passionate about mentoring and coaching your team, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their targets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Strategic Account Executives, driving them to consistently exceed pipeline and revenue goals. You will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for our fastest growing customer segment, ensuring that your team is equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align customer needs with Baseten’s product roadmap, ensuring that the solutions you provide are tailored to meet the demands of the market.
You will engage deeply with the product, enabling your team to have highly technical conversations with prospects and customers. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration within the sales team, creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute to the company’s success. You will also be responsible for tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure that revenue targets are met.
