Benchling is seeking a Global Account Executive to drive new business within top global accounts. You'll focus on building relationships with key stakeholders and generating sales pipelines. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in enterprise sales.

Who you are
You are a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise sales. You have experience engaging with multiple personas within large organizations, particularly in the biotechnology or technology sectors. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders is one of your core strengths. You understand the importance of pipeline generation and have a strategic approach to identifying new business opportunities. You are data-driven and capable of developing accurate sales forecasts to inform decision-making. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with sales development representatives to achieve your goals.
Desirable
Experience in the biotechnology industry or with R&D software solutions is a plus. Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a knack for engaging with diverse personas, including IT, Science/R&D, and Data Science professionals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business into different lines of business within your designated top global accounts. You will create 80% of your pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and engaging with multiple personas within the prospect/customer base. You will utilize various strategies and tools to generate leads and move them through the sales cycle. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts, leveraging data to inform decision-making and ensure predictable revenue. You will collaborate closely with your sales development representative to maximize your outreach and effectiveness in closing deals.
