Bounteous is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to leverage expertise in selling complex digital, data, cloud, and engineering services. You'll work with technology-focused organizations to drive business success. This role requires significant experience in the high-tech sector.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in business development, particularly within the high-tech sector, where you've successfully sold complex digital solutions to technology-focused organizations. Your deep understanding of digital transformation and cloud services allows you to effectively communicate value propositions to sophisticated buyers. You are a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships.

You possess strong leadership skills and have experience managing teams, guiding them to achieve ambitious sales targets. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, ensures that you can align business development efforts with overall company strategy. You are adept at navigating complex sales cycles and have a keen understanding of the technology landscape, including trends in data and AI.

Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the challenge of solving critical business and technical challenges for your clients.

Desirable

Experience working with high-growth technology companies is a plus, as is familiarity with innovative engagement models like co-innovation methodologies. A background in digital product engineering or enterprise technology delivery will further enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As the Vice President of Business Development at Bounteous, you will be responsible for positioning the company's capabilities across various domains, including digital product engineering, cloud modernization, data and analytics, and AI. You will lead efforts to identify and engage potential clients, leveraging your extensive network and industry knowledge to drive new business opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with the Technology Business Unit to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. This involves understanding their challenges and objectives, and crafting strategic proposals that demonstrate how Bounteous can deliver value through innovative digital solutions.

Your role will also include mentoring and developing your sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. You will set clear goals and expectations, providing guidance and support to help your team achieve their targets.

In addition, you will be responsible for tracking market trends and competitor activities, ensuring that Bounteous remains at the forefront of the digital transformation landscape. You will represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships with key stakeholders and enhancing the Bounteous brand in the marketplace.
