Brex is hiring a Senior Manager of Business Development to drive growth for their Embedded Finance platform. You'll be responsible for originating, launching, and scaling partnerships that enhance corporate card spend. This role requires strong strategic and negotiation skills.

You have 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field, with a proven track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships. You possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, ensuring alignment across various stakeholders. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess market opportunities and develop strategies that capitalize on them. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working with diverse teams to achieve common goals. You are passionate about building relationships and have a knack for identifying and nurturing potential partnerships that can drive significant revenue growth.
Desirable
Experience in the fintech or embedded finance space is a plus, as is familiarity with corporate card products and services. You have a network of contacts within the industry that you can leverage to create new opportunities. A background in data analysis or financial modeling would also be beneficial, as it will help you make informed decisions based on market trends and performance metrics.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Business Development at Brex, you will lead efforts to expand our Embedded Finance platform by identifying and pursuing new partnership opportunities. You will work closely with infrastructure and application partners to develop strategies that drive non-linear growth in corporate card spend. Your role will involve sourcing potential partners, negotiating terms, and managing the partner lifecycle to ensure successful implementation and ongoing collaboration. You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform your strategies and drive innovation within the team. Collaboration with internal teams, including product, marketing, and operations, will be essential to align efforts and maximize the impact of partnerships on our bottom line.
