Overview

Brex is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to drive net new realized revenue through strategic partnerships. You'll work closely with infrastructure and application partners to scale partnerships and impact revenue growth. This role requires strong business development experience.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in business development, ideally within the fintech or technology sectors — you've successfully driven revenue growth through strategic partnerships and understand the nuances of embedded distribution models. Your ability to analyze market opportunities and develop relationships with key partners has been a cornerstone of your career.

You possess strong communication and negotiation skills — you can articulate complex ideas clearly and build trust with stakeholders at all levels. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to align on partnership goals and execution.

You are data-driven and results-oriented — you thrive in environments where you can leverage analytics to inform your strategies and measure success. Your experience with CRM tools and data analysis platforms enables you to track performance metrics and optimize partnership initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in the financial services industry or with corporate spend management solutions is a plus. Familiarity with AI-powered platforms and their application in business development will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Brex, you will lead efforts to identify and establish strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the Partnerships team to originate, launch, and scale partnerships across various verticals. Your role will involve conducting market research to identify potential partners and developing tailored approaches to engage them.

You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful integration of partnerships into Brex's offerings, working with product and engineering teams to align on technical requirements and deliverables. Your ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of partnership development.

You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on partnership performance, using data to inform decisions and refine strategies. Your insights will help shape the direction of the Partnerships team as Brex continues to innovate and expand its market presence.
