Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in revenue management and marketplace optimization, with at least 5 years of experience in similar roles. You understand the intricacies of pricing strategies and have a proven track record of maximizing revenue through effective demand and supply matching. Your analytical skills are top-notch, and you are proficient in SQL, allowing you to derive insights from data to inform your decisions. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and technology, to ensure alignment with business objectives.

You are experienced in designing and executing experiments, such as A/B tests, to validate your strategies and improve processes. You have a keen eye for detail and are adept at defining economic criteria that guide decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively makes you a valuable team member.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the strategies for optimizing key functions of Cabify's marketplace, focusing on pricing and allocation processes. You will maximize revenue, margin, and fill rate by improving the utilization of available supply. You will define economic criteria to determine how offers are assigned to demand, taking into account factors such as price, service level agreements (SLA), capacity, costs, and fulfillment probability. Collaborating closely with product and technology teams, you will prioritize developments that ensure scalability and alignment with business goals.

You will design and execute various experiments, including A/B tests and controlled pilots, to identify the best solutions for marketplace optimization. Your insights will directly impact the efficiency of operations and the overall user experience. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and making data-driven recommendations to enhance the marketplace's effectiveness.
