You have a proven track record in managing strategic partnerships and alliances, particularly in the technology sector. With 7+ years of experience in business development or alliance management, you understand the nuances of fostering collaboration between organizations. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with senior executives and align on joint business objectives. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable leading a global team.

You possess a deep understanding of the open-source software landscape and its applications in enterprise environments. Your experience with cloud technologies and data science initiatives positions you well to engage with partners like Dell Technologies. You are adept at contract negotiations and have a strategic mindset that drives market expansion and revenue growth.

What you'll do

As the Global Alliance Director, you will lead the Dell Technologies alliance team, working closely with both Dell and Canonical teams across various geographies. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at strategic partner organizations. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the alliance, ensuring alignment on joint business objectives and driving collaborative initiatives.

You will manage and grow a global team of Business Development Managers, guiding them in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with Dell. Your role will involve developing and executing go-to-market strategies for joint offerings, ensuring that both Canonical and Dell achieve their business goals. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within your team, encouraging them to think differently and work smarter.
