What you'll do

In this role, you will design and own the tax processes that support Canonical's global expansion. You will work closely with the CFO to develop a modern tax strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. Your primary challenge will be to navigate the complexities of the evolving global tax environment, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax positions across multiple corporate entities.

You will be responsible for building a tax function from the ground up, which includes establishing processes, systems, and controls to manage tax compliance and reporting effectively. You will also engage with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that tax considerations are integrated into business decisions.
