You are a visionary designer with a strong aesthetic and visual sensibility, capable of articulating ideas with detail and precision. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the rapid pace of an early-stage startup. Your versatility allows you to excel in various design areas, including UX, UI, motion, and visual design. You are a Figma savant, adept at prototyping and testing designs with others, and you have a keen interest in video and animation. You enjoy collaborating with highly-skilled team players in a zero-ego work environment and possess a high level of emotional intelligence.
Desirable
Experience in building and leading design teams is a plus, as you will be responsible for shaping a world-class design team with plans to hire 3-5 designers this year. Your entrepreneurial mindset and motivation will help drive Capsule's mission forward as you contribute to a $50B opportunity in the video creation space.
What you'll do
As the Lead Product Designer, you will lead and execute all design projects, ensuring that Capsule's video creation tools are user-friendly and visually appealing. You will collaborate closely with the co-founder and CEO, making significant contributions to the product's direction and design. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design process from concept to execution, mentoring junior designers, and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the team. You will also be involved in user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of enterprise teams.
