You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. Your background includes extensive knowledge of advanced vehicle electrical systems and the ability to perform heavy engine work with precision. You are comfortable working with both traditional and modern vehicles, including electric and hybrid models, showcasing your adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service aligns with Carvana's mission to provide a seamless vehicle purchasing experience. Desirable
Experience with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment is a plus, as is any certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). What you'll do
As a Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models. Your role will involve repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, installing and servicing refrigerant and recovery systems, and conducting thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our operations. Additionally, you will mentor and train entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. Your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction will be essential in delivering great vehicles when expected, even under tight deadlines.
