Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, showcasing your ability to handle complex automotive challenges. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues and have experience with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to performing diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, ensuring you can tackle the latest automotive technologies.
You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and techniques in a high-tech Inspection Center, and you are eager to contribute to a company that values innovation and growth. What you'll do
As a Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and advanced diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex automotive issues, ensuring that each vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance. You will work closely with a team of automotive professionals, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative work environment.
You will be expected to manage your time effectively, as the position requires working the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring entry-level technicians, helping them develop their skills and advance within the company. Your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction will be essential in delivering great vehicles when expected, even if it means stepping up during busy periods or mandatory overtime.
