Your deep understanding of data engineering allows you to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business objectives, ensuring that technology aligns with strategic goals. You are skilled in designing scalable and secure architectures that support global deployments, and you have a proven track record of establishing architectural principles and governance frameworks. You thrive in complex environments and are adept at leading architecture review boards to maintain a clean core extension of enterprise systems like SAP and Oracle.

You are familiar with modern technologies and methodologies, including capability mapping and emergent technologies such as Agentic AI and Process Intelligence Graph. Your ability to design complex data pipelines and integration patterns (ETL/ELT, API) is complemented by your strategic mindset, enabling you to drive enterprise modernization initiatives effectively. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and fostering collaboration across teams.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and data governance frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in enterprise architecture will enhance your ability to contribute to Celonis's mission.

What you'll do

As the Principal Enterprise Architect at Celonis, you will be the North Star for customer enterprise transformations, guiding them through the complexities of integrating the Celonis platform into their existing IT landscape. You will define the overall architecture and cloud strategy, ensuring that it meets the scalability, performance, and security requirements of global deployments. Your role will involve establishing architectural principles and policies, leading architecture review boards, and ensuring that the Celonis platform remains a clean core extension of the customer's ERP systems.

You will drive enterprise modernization by leveraging innovative techniques and technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex data pipelines and integration patterns. Your expertise in data engineering will be crucial as you consult on best practices and lead initiatives that enhance the value delivered to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of the Celonis platform, ensuring it aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization.
