Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting and advisory services, with experience in analyzing financial information and engaging with clients. You thrive in a team environment, collaborating with professionals from various backgrounds, including Big 4 auditors. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with client management is key to your success in this role.
You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify key issues and provide valuable insights during engagements. You enjoy taking ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects are addressed thoroughly. Your adaptability allows you to work across different industries and projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of scenarios.
What you'll do
As a Consultant at CFGI, you will participate in operational due diligence for complex transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures. You will work closely with clients to prepare financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC requirements, such as 10K’s and 10Q’s. Your role will involve conducting research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards, as well as implementing process improvements.
You will engage with client management, acting as a subject matter expert on operational accounting tasks and providing overall financial team support. Your responsibilities will include report writing, participating in meetings, and developing strong relationships with clients. You will enjoy the flexibility of working in various locations, including office, remote, and client sites, depending on the engagement specifics.
