Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in enterprise environments β you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and understand the nuances of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your curiosity drives you to deeply understand customer challenges, particularly in the realm of Trust & Safety, allowing you to tailor solutions that meet their needs effectively.
You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment β working closely with founding teams and cross-functional partners is second nature to you. You bring a relentless focus on building and managing a robust sales pipeline, utilizing tools like Salesforce to track your progress and drive engagement.
Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively β whether you're pitching to a room full of executives or engaging in one-on-one conversations with potential partners, you know how to connect and build trust.
You are comfortable working in a fully remote setting but value the importance of in-person interactions β you understand that building relationships often requires face-to-face meetings, and you are willing to travel as needed to foster these connections.
Desirable
Experience in the Trust & Safety or cybersecurity sectors would be a significant advantage β you understand the landscape and can speak the language of your customers. Familiarity with sales tools beyond Salesforce, such as Apollo, can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Cinder, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our enterprise-grade platform β your primary responsibility will be to engage with new and existing customers, understanding their Trust & Safety challenges and goals. You will work directly with the founding team in a collaborative selling environment, where everyone contributes to the sales process.
You will be relentless in building your pipeline, identifying key partner needs, and driving engagement with both technical and non-technical buyers β your ability to empathize with customer challenges will be crucial in launching and growing partnerships. You will also collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to ensure that the solutions you propose align with technical capabilities and customer expectations.
Your role will involve managing the nuts and bolts of the sales process, utilizing Salesforce and other tools to track your progress and optimize your strategy β you will be expected to analyze data and adjust your approach based on what you learn. You will have a front-row seat in tackling some of the most sensitive and impactful issues facing enterprises today, making your work not just a job but a mission.
