Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in managing production infrastructure from Day 0 through Day 2 operations. You are skilled at building proactive deployment observability and guardrails that surface risks early, preventing outages and continuously improving release safety. Your expertise includes architecting compliance-by-design infrastructure, ensuring that SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements are embedded into systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering across data, AI, and product teams to unblock work and improve operational standards.
You are comfortable working directly with strategic customers, diagnosing issues, guiding deployments, and shaping infrastructure decisions that matter in production. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by a relentless drive to enhance system reliability and performance. You are a gritty thinker who sets ego aside and focuses on solving customer problems effectively.
What you'll do
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Cinder, you will drive the evolution of our production infrastructure, ensuring it remains highly reliable and scalable. You will build and maintain proactive deployment observability tools that help surface risks early and prevent outages. Your role will involve architecting systems that comply with industry standards, embedding compliance requirements into the infrastructure from the ground up. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data and AI, to unblock work and enhance operational velocity.
You will also partner with our most strategic customers, providing guidance on deployments and helping to diagnose and resolve issues in real-time. Your contributions will have a substantial impact on the reliability of systems used by some of the world's largest and most visible companies.
