Who you are
As a Regional Sales Director, you are a bold, outcomes-driven leader with a deep understanding of sales processes and a passion for developing high-performing sales talent. You have a proven track record of leading teams to success and are skilled in coaching and mentoring Account Executives. Your experience includes setting quotas, forecasting pipeline and revenue, and ensuring consistent delivery against targets. You thrive in a fast-moving and strategic market, and your leadership style fosters collaboration and excellence within your team.
You have a strong ability to build and prioritize a healthy sales pipeline using modern sales methodologies and technology. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data and insights to strengthen your team's skills and improve sales performance. You are comfortable representing field insights to internal leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across the organization.
Desirable
Experience in the tech industry or with SaaS products is a plus, as is familiarity with sales tech stacks. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to improve processes based on team input and market trends.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives focused on sourcing, developing, and closing new business across the EMEA region. You will hire and onboard new AEs, ensuring they are equipped to open new logos, manage customer expansion, and navigate complex deal cycles. Your responsibilities will include setting quotas and forecasts, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring sales hygiene across systems.
You will collaborate closely with Customer Success leadership to align on handover processes, onboarding, and expansion opportunities. Your role will also involve joining customer meetings and regional events, with travel expected to be around 15%. You will coach your team through the full sales lifecycle, from discovery to negotiation and close, using data and insights to inform your strategies and decisions.
