Clever is hiring a Senior Manager, Technical Pre-Sales to lead the Technical Pre-Sales team in driving revenue growth through consultative discovery and solution design. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of technical solutions in the education sector.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in technical pre-sales or a similar role, ideally within the education technology sector. Your experience includes leading teams and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and solution design. You possess strong communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
You are passionate about education and understand the unique challenges faced by K-12 districts and application partners. Your ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team is complemented by your strategic mindset, allowing you to build and scale technical pre-sales functions effectively.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Technical Pre-Sales, you will lead a team responsible for understanding customer needs and architecting technical solutions that align with Clever's identity management and data interoperability offerings. You will collaborate closely with sales, customer success, product, and engineering teams to ensure that Clever's advanced product offerings meet the complex needs of major K-12 districts.
You will be instrumental in shaping the technical pre-sales strategy and capacity, ensuring your team delivers compelling presentations and demonstrations that highlight the value of Clever's solutions. Your role will involve mentoring team members, conducting deep discovery sessions with customers, and driving the technical aspects of the sales process.
