Overview
Cloudinary is seeking a Senior Video Sales Executive to drive growth in their Video business. You'll be responsible for hunting and closing strategic video-centric deals. This role requires a proven track record in sales and a strong ability to work autonomously.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and driving significant revenue growth. With at least 5 years of experience in a sales role, you thrive in complex and fast-moving environments, demonstrating a strong ability to close deals independently. You are decisive and resourceful, consistently pushing deals forward without waiting for direction. Your experience includes working with video-centric products or services, allowing you to understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with clients and internal teams alike. You are comfortable collaborating with Account Executives and broader go-to-market teams to leverage resources and maximize impact. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients is paramount, as you will be the primary driver for Cloudinary’s Video business.
You are motivated by results and have a strong sense of accountability for delivering significant, direct Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth for the Video product suite. You understand the importance of a customer-centric approach and are adept at identifying and addressing client needs to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Desirable
Experience in the tech industry, particularly with API platforms or video solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with sales methodologies and tools that enhance productivity and effectiveness in sales processes will be beneficial. You are also open to continuous learning and development, eager to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for hunting, accelerating, and closing the largest and most strategic video-centric deals for Cloudinary. You will operate with a high degree of independence, managing the full sales motion from prospecting to closing. Your primary focus will be on driving momentum and owning the sales process end to end, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales targets.
You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Cloudinary’s Video solutions can address their challenges. This will involve conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. You will also collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance lead generation and conversion rates.
As a key player in the sales team, you will provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client interactions, helping to shape the future of Cloudinary’s Video offerings. You will also participate in regular sales meetings and strategy sessions, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues to foster a culture of success and collaboration.
