Column is seeking an Emerging Markets Lead to drive growth for a new banking product in international markets. You'll focus on building relationships with partners and customers, particularly in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. You have a strong background in business development, particularly in the financial technology sector, and have successfully led initiatives that drive growth in new markets. Your experience includes building and nurturing relationships with partners and customers, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex business environments. You understand the challenges faced by fintech companies and have a passion for simplifying banking solutions. You are adept at developing strategies that align with company goals and have a proven track record of executing those strategies effectively.
Desirable
Experience in emerging markets, particularly in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, is a plus. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing market conditions. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As the Emerging Markets Lead at Column, you will be responsible for spearheading the company's international expansion efforts. You will develop and implement strategies to drive 0-to-1 growth for a new banking product, focusing on building relationships with prospective partners and customers in select markets. Your role will involve conducting market research to identify opportunities and challenges, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives. You will also be tasked with creating and presenting business proposals to potential partners, showcasing the value of Column's innovative banking solutions.
In addition to driving growth, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's approach to entering new markets. This includes identifying key trends and insights that can inform product development and marketing strategies. You will work closely with the product team to ensure that the offerings meet the needs of the target markets and resonate with local customers.
