Overview
Column is hiring a Business Development professional to identify and engage new partnerships that drive revenue. You'll work closely with Sales & Partnerships colleagues to build relationships with innovative companies. This role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in business development or sales, ideally within the financial technology sector. You thrive on identifying new opportunities and have a knack for building relationships with diverse stakeholders. Your analytical mindset allows you to dig deep into industries and extract valuable insights that can drive strategic decisions.
You are comfortable with direct outreach and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with both startups and established companies. You understand the complexities of the financial services landscape and are passionate about simplifying the banking supply chain for builders and developers.
What you'll do
As part of the New Business team, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new prospective partnerships that align with Column's mission. You will engage with a variety of companies, from stealth startups to innovative public firms, to explore collaboration opportunities that can enhance Column's offerings.
You will work closely with your Sales & Partnerships colleagues to develop strategies for outreach and engagement, ensuring that you are effectively communicating Column's value proposition. Your role will involve analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform your approach and drive revenue growth.
