Who you are
You have experience in customer success or account management, ideally within a SaaS environment — you understand the importance of customer retention and have a knack for building strong relationships with clients. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while ensuring a seamless renewal process. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support to customers.
You are proactive in identifying opportunities for upselling and contract renewals — you understand the nuances of subscription models and can effectively communicate the value of multi-year contracts to clients. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the renewal process, from quote creation to contract processing, are handled efficiently and accurately.
What you'll do
As a Renewals Specialist at CommerceHub, you will project manage the renewal experience in close partnership with assigned Customer Success Managers and Account Executives. Your primary responsibility will be to retain and increase subscription revenue in existing customer accounts by positioning multi-year contracts and price increases. You will also play a key role in migrating existing customers from legacy plans to new packaging and pricing, ensuring a smooth transition that maximizes customer satisfaction.
You will proactively identify potential challenges in the renewal process and work collaboratively with internal teams to address them. This includes coordinating with Customer Success, Legal, and Accounting to ensure all contractual obligations are met and that customers receive the support they need throughout their renewal journey. Your role will involve customer-facing interactions, where you will advocate for the value of CommerceHub's offerings and help clients understand the benefits of renewing their contracts.
