Who you are
You have experience in customer success or account management, ideally within a SaaS environment — you understand the importance of customer retention and have a knack for building strong relationships with clients. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously without losing sight of the details. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams such as Customer Success, Legal, and Accounting to ensure a seamless renewal process for customers.
You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which enable you to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring that customers are aware of the value they can gain from multiyear contracts and new pricing structures. Your analytical mindset helps you assess customer needs and tailor solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
What you'll do
As a Renewals Specialist at CommerceHub, you will project manage the renewal experience in close partnership with assigned Customer Success Managers and Account Executives. Your primary responsibility will be to retain and increase subscription revenue in existing customer accounts by positioning multiyear contracts and price increases. You will also play a key role in migrating existing customers from legacy plans to new packaging and pricing, ensuring a smooth transition that maximizes customer satisfaction.
You will proactively identify potential challenges in the renewal process and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address them. This may involve creating quotes, processing contracts, and providing backend deal desk support. Your ability to coordinate effectively with various departments will be crucial in delivering a seamless customer experience and driving successful renewals.
