Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in a value-driven sales model, and possess a 'hunter/closer' mentality. Your experience includes successfully selling technology solutions to medium-sized enterprises, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential. You are skilled in prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and developing a sales pipeline, and you understand the importance of building relationships with clients and partners. You are adaptable and can navigate complex sales processes while maintaining a focus on customer success. You are driven by results and are motivated to exceed quarterly sales targets.
Desirable
Experience in the data streaming or technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the partner ecosystem. You are comfortable working with Solutions Engineers and Professional Services to ensure customer satisfaction and success. You have a strong understanding of the sales landscape in Singapore and the Greater China region, which will help you effectively target and engage potential clients.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Confluent, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in large, diverse, and complex territories. You will proactively prospect and identify potential clients, qualifying leads and developing a robust sales pipeline. Your role will involve presenting and selling Confluent's value proposition to medium-sized enterprises, ensuring that you articulate the benefits of our data streaming solutions effectively. You will own the entire sales process, from initial contact through to closing deals, collaborating closely with team members in business development to achieve your goals. You will also partner with Solutions Engineers and Professional Services to ensure that customers receive the support they need to succeed with our products. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, and you will be expected to contribute to the overall growth and success of the Confluent Sales Team.
