Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical consulting within the cybersecurity or enterprise IT sectors β you understand the nuances of security technologies such as EPP, EDR, SASE, and CNAPP, and can effectively communicate their value to clients. Your background includes project management experience related to security solutions, which allows you to navigate complex client needs with ease.
You possess a solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as container security, enabling you to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to customer requirements. Holding certifications such as CISSP or CISM is a plus, showcasing your commitment to the field and enhancing your credibility as a trusted advisor.
Your presentation and communication skills are exceptional β you can convey technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner, making you a valuable asset during client meetings and workshops. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to design proposals that align with customer needs.
You are proactive and adaptable, able to respond to the fast-paced nature of the cybersecurity landscape while continuously learning about emerging threats and best practices. Your ability to gather feedback from clients and relay it to product and strategy teams contributes to the ongoing improvement of solutions offered by Cybereason.
What you'll do
As a Sales Engineer at Cybereason, you will closely collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations and proof of concepts (PoCs). You will act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping them design optimal security strategies that meet their unique needs.
You will participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical workshops, sharing insights on the latest threat trends and security best practices. Your role will involve continuous engagement with customers to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions that enhance their security posture.
You will also keep abreast of competitive landscapes and new threat trends, ensuring that you can effectively position Cybereason's solutions in the market. Your insights from the Japanese market will be shared with the APAC region, contributing to the overall enhancement of customer value.
In addition, you will drive new initiatives aimed at streamlining and enhancing pre-sales operations, ensuring that the sales process is efficient and effective. Your contributions will play a crucial role in maintaining Cybereason's position as a market leader in endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
