Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the enterprise sector, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to clients. Your experience includes developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive growth and exceed revenue targets. You are adept at understanding complex products and can effectively communicate their value to diverse stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs allows you to identify new opportunities and drive consumption growth in existing accounts. You are passionate about data and AI, and you understand how these technologies can transform businesses.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy to maximize Databricks' market potential in South Africa. You will drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in existing accounts and exceed activity and revenue targets. You will track all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Your responsibilities will also include identifying new use case opportunities and showcasing the value of Databricks' solutions to existing customers. You will collaborate with the Sales Director for Qatar and South Africa to align on strategic initiatives and ensure successful execution of sales plans. Additionally, you will operate on a fly-in/fly-out model to service the South African market, which will require flexibility and adaptability in your approach.
