Who you are

As a Mid Market Hunter Account Executive, you are a sales professional with a proven track record in selling to Mid Market accounts. You understand how to sell innovation and change, guiding deals forward to compress decision cycles. You have a deep understanding of the product and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners. You are always on the lookout for new opportunities, eager to secure net new logos and expand existing accounts. Your experience includes a solid understanding of the data platform and cloud ecosystems, along with some exposure to the software industry and the basic concepts of selling SaaS and business value.

You are competent in prospecting research and can effectively map out key stakeholders within potential client organizations. Your ability to communicate effectively with technical buyers sets you apart, as you can articulate the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform clearly and persuasively. You are driven by results and have a strong desire to exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets, ensuring 100% satisfaction among all customers.

Desirable

While not mandatory, familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, as you will be tracking all customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting. Your ability to identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles will be crucial to your success in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy tailored to the unique needs of Mid Market accounts. You will employ a solution-based approach to selling, creating value for new logo accounts while also managing existing relationships. Your responsibilities will include identifying and closing quick wins, as well as navigating longer, more complex sales cycles. You will track all customer interactions and details in Salesforce, ensuring that you maintain an organized and strategic approach to your sales efforts.

You will promote the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, ensuring that customers understand how it can solve their business challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams within Databricks to ensure that customer needs are met and that you are positioned to exceed your sales targets. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that all clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey with Databricks.
