Who you are
You have 4+ years of direct sales experience working for a Cloud, SaaS, Data, or AI company β you understand the intricacies of the consumption sales process and know how to effectively communicate the value of innovative products to customers. Your experience includes growing consumption and closing deals in a direct sales role, showcasing your ability to drive revenue and exceed targets.
You possess a good understanding of the data platform and cloud ecosystems, which allows you to identify new use case opportunities and promote the value of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform. You are competent with prospecting research and have the ability to map out key accounts, ensuring you can effectively manage your territory and develop successful execution strategies.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Databricks, you will own a focused territory of approximately 11 spending accounts in the Mid Market space, with significant upside potential. Your primary responsibility will be to drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in existing accounts while exceeding activity and quarterly revenue targets. You will track all customer details, including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring that you have a comprehensive understanding of your accounts.
You will assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy that aligns with Databricks' goals. Your role will involve identifying new use case opportunities and showcasing the value of the Databricks platform to existing customers, ensuring 100% satisfaction among all clients. You will report to the Director of Emerging Enterprise, contributing to the overall growth and success of the team.
