Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in Enterprise Sales roles, ideally within the Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology sectors. With at least 5 years of experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise customers, you understand the intricacies of the sales process and have successfully navigated complex sales cycles. Your solution-oriented approach focuses on business outcomes, allowing you to effectively communicate the value of innovative technologies to clients.
You possess the ability to articulate complex cloud and big data technologies in a way that resonates with both business and technical stakeholders. Your experience includes engaging with decision-makers and guiding them through the evaluation and buying process, ensuring that you exceed individual activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with local partners, technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs to drive customer success and upsell opportunities.
Your educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree, and you have demonstrated an upward trajectory in your career, showcasing your ability to adapt and excel in fast-paced environments. You are passionate about leveraging data and analytics to drive business growth and are excited about the opportunity to launch the Databricks brand in Enterprise/Strategic Accounts across various industries.
Desirable
Experience in selling innovation in the Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology space is highly desirable. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, or the Challenger Sale will set you apart. You are a strategic thinker who can create a Territory Strategy that aligns with Databricks' growth objectives in Korea.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will play a crucial role in our expansion efforts in Korea. Your primary responsibility will be to evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark, making a significant impact on our revenue growth. You will prospect, identify, and source new sales opportunities, building a robust pipeline both individually and in collaboration with the Databricks SDR team.
You will engage with business and technical decision-makers, leading them through the evaluation and buying process. Your goal will be to exceed individual activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets while driving business through local partners. You will also focus on customer success, ensuring that existing customers are satisfied and identifying upsell opportunities.
Creating a Territory Strategy will be essential to your success, as you will need to understand the local market dynamics and tailor your approach accordingly. You will report directly to the Director of Sales, Korea, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving our sales objectives.
