Who you are
You have a proven track record in a Pre Sales Manager role, developing and managing successful teams of Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals. Your experience in scaling and mentoring field and technical teams from scratch, both onshore and offshore, sets you apart. You excel at building relationships with key stakeholders and understand the business needs and revenue potential for your assigned accounts. You are adept at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions and have a customer-obsessed mindset that aligns with Databricks' culture.
Desirable
Experience with Digital Native companies or ecosystems is a plus, as is a background in promoting solution and value-based selling within a field-engineering organization. You are passionate about fostering a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team and are committed to enhancing the effectiveness of your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the hiring and building of a pre-sales team of Solutions Architects, focusing on your assigned accounts. You will guide your team to rapidly scale the designated Field Engineering segment organization without sacrificing quality. Your leadership will support an increase in the return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles by 2-3x over 18 months. You will work closely with the sales organization to close revenue with the right approach while coaching new sales and pre-sales team members to collaborate effectively. Your role will involve supporting complex sales cycles and building Databricks' brand in partnership with the Marketing and Sales teams.
