Who you are

You are an experienced Account Executive with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the Public Sector. You thrive on building relationships and have a knack for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. Your proactive approach as a 'hunter' allows you to navigate complex sales cycles effectively, ensuring you close high-value deals that contribute to revenue growth.

You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to establish essential C-Level relationships across various roles, including Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science. Your ability to understand customer needs deeply allows you to provide tailored solutions that create long-term partnerships. You are comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients and maximize the impact of your solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on securing new enterprise accounts across multiple customers, creating a strong foundation for long-term partnerships. You will develop and execute a focused strategy for identifying and winning high-potential accounts in untapped markets. Your responsibilities will include identifying and closing quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles. You will plan, document, and drive the growth of Databricks usage in newly won accounts to maximize customer impact.

You will orchestrate and utilize a solution-based approach to selling, ensuring that you create value for customers. Your leadership will be essential as you guide important staff and technical teams, identifying all significant data use cases and buying centers in each opportunity. You will report to the Sales Director for the Public Sector, collaborating closely with them to align your strategies with the broader company goals.
