You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in selling to enterprise accounts β€” your experience has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals effectively. You thrive on understanding products in depth and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and system integrators. Your hunter mentality drives you to seek out new opportunities and close net new logos, ensuring that you consistently exceed your sales targets.

You have previously worked in an early-stage company and understand the dynamics of a fast-paced environment β€” your field sales experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales has prepared you to tackle the challenges of this role. You possess strong customer relationships and know how to leverage them to create value for both your clients and your organization.

What you'll do

As a Strategic Enterprise Hunter Account Executive at Databricks, you will meet with CIOs, IT executives, and other key decision-makers to promote our enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ„’. Your role will involve closing both new and existing accounts while identifying quick wins and managing longer, complex sales cycles. You will be responsible for tracking all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce, ensuring that you maintain a clear view of your pipeline and forecasting.

You will utilize a solution-based approach to selling, focusing on creating value for customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our offerings. Your ability to compress decision cycles will be crucial in guiding deals forward, and you will prioritize opportunities effectively to apply the appropriate resources. You will also build a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
