Who you are
You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in selling to enterprise-level clients, particularly in the manufacturing sector. With experience in field sales, you understand how to navigate complex sales cycles and are adept at building relationships with CIOs and IT executives. You thrive in environments where innovation and change are key, and you are passionate about communicating the value of cutting-edge solutions to customers and system integrators.
You have previously worked in early-stage companies and know how to identify and capitalize on new opportunities. Your experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales equips you with the skills necessary to land and grow strategic accounts. You are results-driven, always looking to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Desirable
Experience with solution-based selling and a deep understanding of the enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ’ would be advantageous. Familiarity with navigating decision cycles in large organizations is a plus, as is a background in managing complex sales processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with key stakeholders, including CIOs and program managers, to close new accounts and drive growth in two strategic greenfield manufacturing accounts. You will identify quick wins while managing longer, more complex sales cycles, ensuring that you exceed your targets consistently. Your day-to-day will involve tracking customer details in Salesforce, applying a solution-based approach to selling, and promoting Databricks' innovative offerings.
You will build a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts, ensuring that you prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate resources. Your ability to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward will be crucial to your success in this position. You will also be expected to maintain 100% customer satisfaction, ensuring that all clients are happy with their experience and the solutions provided.
