Who you are
You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in leading go-to-market campaigns, particularly within the High Tech sector. You excel at selling innovation and change, guiding deals forward to compress decision cycles while building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as CIOs and IT executives. Your deep understanding of products allows you to communicate their value effectively to customers and system integrators.
You have a strong background in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI, which informs your execution strategy and helps you provide genuine value to clients. You thrive in early-stage companies, navigating challenges with limited oversight and demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving sales targets. Your ability to prioritize opportunities and leverage resources effectively sets you apart in the competitive landscape.
Desirable
Experience in managing relationships with Fortune 5 clients is a plus, as is familiarity with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform powered by Apache Sparkβ’ and Delta Lake. You are comfortable using Salesforce to track customer details, including use cases and forecasting, ensuring that you stay organized and focused on driving results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage a strategic account within the Fortune 5 High Tech sector, driving value-based growth and expanding Databricks' footprint into new business units and use cases. You will be responsible for exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets while building a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your account.
