Who you are
You have over 5 years of closing sales experience, particularly in big data, Cloud, or SaaS environments β you've successfully navigated both transactional and strategic sales processes, demonstrating your ability to adapt to various customer needs. Your creativity and self-motivation shine through as you prospect for new opportunities and expand existing accounts, always with a customer-first mindset. You possess a deep understanding of the products you sell, allowing you to effectively communicate their value to customers and partners alike.
Your experience in exceeding sales KPIs and quotas sets you apart β you know how to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward, ensuring that you meet and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. You are proficient in maintaining clear Salesforce and Clari hygiene, including use case documentation, MEDDPICC, revenue forecasts, and account notes, which are crucial for tracking your progress and success.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Geo Account Executive at Databricks, you will build a territory plan within your first 30 days, establishing a clear account prioritization strategy that aligns both new and existing customers with the Lakehouse vision and ecosystem. You will engage in a range of sales activities, from faster transactions to large strategic deals, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales targets. Your role will involve constant prospecting for new opportunities, allowing you to close new accounts while also expanding existing ones.
You will report to a regional sales manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer success. Your ability to understand and articulate the product's value proposition will be key in guiding customers through their decision-making processes. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of organization and clarity in your sales documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
