Who you are

You have experience in hunting and closing net new logos, demonstrating a strong ability to engage with potential clients and understand their unique needs. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with internal stakeholders to convey the value of Datadog's products effectively. Your background includes strategic prospecting into various departments, particularly targeting Chief Technology Officers and Engineering/IT Leaders. You are comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiations and technical demonstrations. You understand the importance of building relationships and fostering a positive office culture, contributing to team success while pursuing your career growth in sales.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Datadog, your primary focus will be on acquiring new customers and converting inbound leads into closed opportunities. You will strategically prospect into organizations, identifying key decision-makers and engaging them in meaningful conversations about Datadog's offerings. Collaborating with Sales Development Representatives, you will drive top-of-funnel activity and manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring a seamless experience for potential clients. You will leverage tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg to enhance your outreach efforts and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. Your role will involve multi-threading into different departments within complex organizations, allowing you to understand their needs and tailor your approach accordingly. You will also participate in negotiations and conduct on-site technical demonstrations to showcase the value of Datadog's solutions.
