Who you are

You have experience in hunting and closing net new logos — you've successfully engaged with mid-to-large size organizations and understand the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You are skilled in using tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg to identify and connect with potential clients. Your ability to strategically prospect into various departments, including Chief Technology Officers and Engineering Leaders, sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity and manage the full sales cycle. You value the importance of building relationships and conveying the unique value of the Datadog product to customers. You are eager to grow your career in sales and contribute to the success of the Datadog team.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Datadog, you will focus entirely on acquiring new customers and converting inbound leads into closed opportunities. You will leverage your sales expertise to strategically engage with potential clients, understanding their unique needs and clearly conveying how Datadog can meet those needs. You will manage the full sales cycle, which includes negotiations and on-site technical demonstrations, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.
