Your background includes a proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets, showcasing your ability to drive revenue growth. You possess a deep understanding of cloud environments and the pain points that companies face when migrating to the cloud at scale. This knowledge allows you to tailor your sales approach to meet the specific needs of your clients.
You are resourceful and adaptable, able to overcome challenges that may arise during the sales process. What you'll do
As a Key Accounts Executive at Datadog, you will be responsible for targeting and closing new business within the largest, most strategic prospects in key, high-potential companies. You will develop and execute an outbound prospecting strategy tailored to specific Fortune 100 accounts, driving a strategic, multi-threaded sales motion that spans multiple stakeholders and product suites.
You will create, own, and grow your own accounts, demonstrating the value of the Datadog platform to your clients. Your role will involve working closely with marketing and solutions engineering teams to ensure that your sales efforts are well-supported and aligned with the company's overall strategy.
You will negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises, focusing on selling value and ROI. Your ability to ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of the sales process.
