Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience managing a high-performing Enterprise Sales team in a B2B technology environment, particularly within the public sector in Australia and New Zealand. Your strong relationship-building skills enable you to navigate complex sales processes and engage multiple stakeholders effectively. You are confident in managing negotiations that align pricing with business value, ensuring that your team meets their targets and quotas.
You possess a strategic mindset, capable of shaping go-to-market strategies and executing them effectively in your region. Your experience includes coaching sales executives on productivity metrics such as deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy, helping them to build executive relationships with named enterprise accounts. You thrive in environments where collaboration with marketing, product, and success teams is essential to create targeted messaging and collateral.
What you'll do
As the Director of Enterprise Sales, you will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise Sales Executives responsible for driving new and expansion bookings within the public sector. You will achieve annual enterprise bookings quotas with monthly and quarterly targets, ensuring your team is equipped to succeed. You will conduct weekly forecast meetings and support your direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings, engaging other corporate resources as required.
You will shape the direction of the go-to-market strategy for your region, working collaboratively with various teams to build a customer journey that meets the specific business needs of your area. Your role will involve coaching your team through the complexities of enterprise deals and negotiations, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead customers through a proactive sales cycle. You will also be responsible for developing and managing your team's productivity metrics, fostering a high-performance culture that drives results.
