Who you are
You have a proven track record in managing high-value client relationships, ideally within the B2B SaaS or tech sectors. With a strong strategic mindset, you excel at developing and executing client retention and expansion strategies that directly impact net revenue retention. Your experience includes working closely with VP- and C-suite stakeholders, ensuring that client outcomes are prioritized and aligned with business objectives.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to serve as a trusted advisor to clients while fostering durable relationships grounded in integrity and impact. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly across various teams and disciplines to achieve unified business outcomes. Your resilience and adaptability enable you to navigate the fast-paced, high-accountability landscape of performance marketing.
Your approach is data-driven, and you understand the importance of radical accountability in delivering results. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance client experiences and drive measurable growth.
Desirable
Experience in performance marketing, particularly in areas such as Paid Media, SEO, CRO, and RevOps, would be advantageous. Familiarity with integrated marketing strategies and a passion for creativity combined with commercial discipline will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
As the Account Director for Client Strategy, you will own the strategic direction of a portfolio of Directiveβs most valuable and complex client relationships. You will act as the senior strategic lead, responsible for executive communication and long-term partnership value. Your role will involve developing and executing renewal, upsell, and cross-sell strategies that are directly tied to net revenue retention performance.
You will collaborate with various teams, including Paid Media, SEO, CRO, Creative, and RevOps, to ensure that all efforts are aligned towards achieving client success. Your ability to operate with autonomy and commercial rigor will be essential as you influence Directiveβs overall client strategy and growth initiatives.
In this position, you will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive exceptional service. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for expansion within existing accounts, leveraging your understanding of client goals and market trends.
