Who you are
You have extensive experience as an AV Technician, particularly in the installation and integration of video conferencing and AV equipment. Your technical knowledge spans various systems including Cisco, Zoom, and Polycom, and you are comfortable working in diverse environments. You possess supervisory experience, having led teams of technicians and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Your professionalism and customer awareness are paramount, as you strive to exceed client expectations in every project.
You are physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment. Your technical skills include a solid understanding of IT network infrastructures and video conferencing solutions, which allows you to diagnose and repair issues effectively. You are committed to ongoing training and development, keeping abreast of the latest technologies in the AV market.
What you'll do
As a Senior Lead AV Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and configuration of a wide range of AV equipment. This includes everything from soldering cables and connectors to integrating full systems using Crestron and AMX technologies. You will work closely with clients at various sites, ensuring that installations meet their specific needs and expectations. Your responsibilities will also include conducting preventative maintenance checks and troubleshooting any issues that arise during or after installations.
You will supervise and mentor L1 and L2 technicians, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining high standards of service and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's goals.
