Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in audio-visual technology, with experience in installing and integrating video conferencing and AV equipment. Your technical knowledge spans various systems including Cisco, Zoom, and Crestron, and you are comfortable working in diverse environments. You possess supervisory experience, having led teams in previous roles, and are physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including lifting equipment. You are adaptable and enjoy the freedom and flexibility that comes with working across different client sites.
Desirable
Experience with a wide range of AV equipment and solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with IT network infrastructures. You are committed to ongoing training and development to stay current with the latest technologies in the AV market.
What you'll do
As the Lead AV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of various audio and video equipment, ensuring that all systems are integrated seamlessly. You will participate in the full installation process, from soldering cables and connectors to the integration of complex systems like Crestron and AMX. Your role will also involve conducting preventative maintenance checks and diagnosing any issues that arise during installations. You will supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. Flexibility and the ability to travel to different client sites are essential, as your work environment will vary significantly.
