Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in outside sales, demonstrating a strong ability to manage a full-cycle sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals. Your background includes working with diverse partners and tailoring solutions to meet their needs, particularly in fast-growing sectors. You thrive in a dynamic environment where change is the norm, and you are adept at negotiating revenue share agreements and multi-product solutions. Your strong communication skills enable you to build meaningful relationships with merchants, helping them grow their businesses through strategic partnerships. You are results-driven and understand the importance of onboarding high-quality partners to enhance marketplace offerings and customer retention.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or e-commerce sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with local commerce dynamics. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to new challenges. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets will set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

As a Senior Territory Account Executive, you will be responsible for expanding DoorDash's reach into new verticals by identifying and onboarding non-restaurant partners. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting potential merchants to pitching DoorDash's offerings and negotiating contracts. Your role will involve collaborating with local and regional merchants to understand their needs and tailor solutions that drive mutual growth. You will work closely with the New Verticals team to develop strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention in emerging categories such as grocery, convenience, and retail.
