Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. Your experience includes managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a direct impact on revenue. You are comfortable working independently and are motivated by achieving sales targets. You understand the importance of local partnerships and have a knack for identifying opportunities that benefit both DoorDash and its merchant partners.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively pitch DoorDash's offerings to restaurant owners. You are adept at negotiating revenue share agreements and can articulate the value of multi-product solutions. Your ability to build rapport with clients is one of your strongest assets, and you enjoy being the face of the company in your assigned market.
What you'll do
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for driving the growth of DoorDash's partnerships with local and regional restaurants. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners to introduce them to DoorDash's suite of offerings. Your role will involve prospecting new partners, pitching DoorDash's services, and negotiating deals that align with both parties' goals. You will work closely with the Outside Sales team to ensure that your efforts contribute to the overall success of the company.
You will also be expected to travel within your region for in-person collaboration, training, and team-building events. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely or from a DoorDash office when not in the field. Your contributions will directly impact DoorDash's bottom line, as you help to fuel the growth of small and medium-sized business partnerships.
