Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with restaurant owners sets you apart. You understand the importance of local partnerships and are passionate about helping businesses grow through innovative solutions. You are adaptable and can manage your time effectively, balancing in-field meetings with remote work. You are located in or near Houston, TX, and are willing to travel within the region as needed.
What you'll do
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new restaurant partners to DoorDash. You will actively prospect and pitch to local and regional merchants, showcasing how DoorDash can enhance their business operations and consumer reach. Your role will involve negotiating revenue share agreements and selling multi-product solutions tailored to the needs of each merchant. You will spend a significant portion of your time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners to build strong relationships and understand their unique challenges. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new partners and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the Outside Sales team. Your efforts will directly impact DoorDash's revenue and market presence in the Houston area.
