You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building relationships with local businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Your ability to communicate effectively with restaurant owners and understand their needs is key to your success. You are adaptable and can manage your time effectively, balancing in-field meetings with remote work.
Desirable
Experience in the food and beverage industry or with SMB partnerships is a plus. Familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems will help you excel in this role. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
As a Regional Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash. This involves prospecting potential merchants, pitching DoorDash's offerings, negotiating revenue share agreements, and closing deals. You will spend a significant amount of time in the field, meeting with restaurant owners and building strong local relationships. Your role will also include collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners and providing ongoing support to help them succeed.
