Encore Renewable Energy is hiring a Business Development Associate to support market analysis and contract development for clean energy projects. This role focuses on evaluating new market opportunities and requires a collaborative mindset.

You have a keen interest in clean energy and sustainability, and you are excited about the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to evaluate new markets and support business development initiatives.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable conducting market and opportunity analysis. You are detail-oriented and can support business development decisions through legislative, regulatory, and financial analysis of new and evolving market opportunities. You are also adept at researching state-level solar and clean energy policies, interconnection requirements, and incentive programs relevant to the development of grid-connected commercial and industrial solar and energy storage projects.
What you'll do
As a Business Development Associate, you will work across the entire portfolio of Encoreβs project development activities. Your core responsibilities will include conducting market and opportunity analysis to support business development decisions. You will collaborate closely with the Business Development, Project Development, Finance, and Legal teams to evaluate new markets and support property rights and electric customer acquisition efforts.
You will be responsible for researching and analyzing state-level solar and clean energy policies, interconnection requirements, and incentive programs. This research will inform the development of grid-connected commercial and industrial solar and energy storage projects. You will also support early-stage evaluation and business development initiatives, contributing to the overall growth and success of Encore Renewable Energy.
