You have a proven track record in sales management, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams to achieve and exceed sales targets. Your ability to inspire and motivate others is evident in your leadership style, and you excel at providing clear direction and regular feedback to your team. You understand the importance of aligning your team's efforts with the broader sales objectives and are skilled at navigating complex situations with senior leaders and executives.
Your experience includes a deep understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, which you leverage to drive sales strategies and growth. You are adept at using data to inform your decisions and pivot your strategic plans as necessary. You are committed to modeling business ethics and best practices, ensuring your team operates with integrity and professionalism.
Desirable
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with software or solutions that support state and local government operations, is a plus. Familiarity with Esri technology or similar GIS solutions will give you an edge in understanding customer needs and driving adoption.
What you'll do
As a Senior Sales Manager at Esri, you will lead a team dedicated to promoting and selling Esri technology within the Minneapolis region. Your primary responsibility will be to empower your team through effective coaching and support, ensuring they are engaged in meaningful work that meets the needs of key stakeholders and customers. You will direct sales activities and participate strategically in all stages of the sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals.
You will translate the Director's strategic plan into a regional business plan, collaborating with solution engineers and strategic partners to support your sales strategy. Regular interaction with senior leaders will be essential as you navigate complex situations and drive revenue growth. You will utilize internal and external data to inform your strategies and recognize opportunities for expansion and optimization of customer adoption of Esri technology.
