You have 2+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally within the SaaS or AI/tech sectors — you understand the nuances of managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Your strong communication skills enable you to tell compelling stories and sell a vision that resonates with potential customers. You take a consultative approach, helping clients see the business value of products rather than just their features. You thrive in a competitive environment, driven by the challenge of closing deals and achieving targets. Your experience in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment has prepared you to adapt quickly and effectively.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Exa, you will own the entire sales cycle, from the first touchpoint with potential customers to closing deals. You will run product demos that leave customers impressed and eager to engage with our innovative AI search engine. Developing and executing strategies to land high-value customers will be a key part of your role, and you will work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to maintain a strong and active pipeline. Negotiating contracts and driving revenue growth will be your primary objectives, ensuring that Exa continues to expand its market presence.
