Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in manufacturing and supply chain management, with at least 5 years of experience in supplier development. Your expertise lies in identifying and qualifying manufacturing partners, ensuring they meet the high standards required for hardware production. You possess a deep understanding of various manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, and injection molding. You are adept at building relationships with suppliers and have a keen eye for assessing their capabilities beyond just their quotes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a network of U.S.-based manufacturing partners. You will conduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers, ensuring they can meet Fictiv's quality and production standards. Your role will involve regular visits to local suppliers, where you will evaluate their operations and provide guidance on best practices.
