Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in people operations, with a focus on optimizing operational frameworks and ensuring compliance with both US and international standards. Your experience includes building data and reporting infrastructures that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You are adept at managing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring data integrity, particularly through systems like Rippling.
You understand the importance of global compliance and policy management, having overseen mandatory training and maintained up-to-date employee handbooks and policies. Your attention to detail ensures that audits are passed with flawless documentation, and you are proactive in identifying areas for improvement in policies and processes.
Your partnership with senior leadership on benefits and total rewards strategy demonstrates your ability to align people operations with organizational goals. You have experience managing vendor relationships and facilitating new hire enrollment and open enrollment processes, ensuring that employees are well-informed about their benefits.
You are skilled in leave management, facilitating communication and compliance throughout the leave of absence process. Your ability to develop processes related to state and country-specific leave of absence requirements showcases your comprehensive understanding of people operations.
You are a strategic thinker, focused on transforming the people operations function from reactive execution into a proactive business partnership. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies.
Desirable
Experience with Rippling or similar HR systems is a plus, as is familiarity with global compliance standards. You may also have a background in data analytics, which would further enhance your ability to drive data-informed decisions within the People Team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for defining a clear and collaborative People Ops operating model within the first 90 days. You will create a comprehensive compliance and audit roadmap, ensuring that all policies and processes are thoroughly audited and improved where necessary. Your focus will be on establishing a proactive approach to people operations that aligns with the strategic goals of Fieldguide.
You will partner with the Senior Director of People and Talent to develop and implement a competitive total rewards strategy, ensuring that Fieldguide remains an attractive employer in the market. This includes overseeing benefits education and communication to ensure employees understand their options and feel supported in their choices.
As the Leave of Absence Administrator, you will facilitate the end-to-end leave management process, ensuring compliance and effective communication between employees, managers, payroll, and legal partners. You will also develop processes tailored to specific state and country requirements, enhancing the overall employee experience.
Your role will involve advancing automation and process efficiencies within the People Team, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve clarity across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that people operations are integrated into the broader business strategy.
